This kind of surprise can cause unnecessary anxiety, confusion and poor testing performance. We are here to take the mystery out of the testing process so you are fully prepared to test!
Today’s episode focuses on a specific testing checkpoint and discusses why it is such a big deal. Watch the video below to learn more!
Prometric testing requires that you identify the patient verbally, by name. This process is generally the safest way to identify the patient, unless they have a cognitive impairment. ID bands are often wrong, missing or smudged and should only be used as a secondary identification method, per current recommendations.
Knowing what to expect on the test can help prevent anxiety and improve performance!
